Pew Research came out with a study on what it means to be Asian in America. This is what it states about multiracial people who are part Asian: Participants with multiethnic or multiracial backgrounds described their own unique experiences with their identity. Rather than choosing one racial or ethnic group over the other, some participants described identifying with both groups, since this more accurately describes how they see themselves.
