“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”

Robert F. Kennedy

Yes, it’s Famous Friday, but it’s also time to thank everyone who has helped make Project RACE what is today as we go into a brand-new year. I would like to thank all the people who make Project RACE successful for the multiracial community.

I wish I could thank everyone individually, but that’s not possible. From the Project RACE Teens who make sure we have a Famous Friday to post each week to those who give us their important opinions, I thank you. To the volunteers who send us articles to the advisory board who help make important decisions to our non-profit, we can’t say thank you enough.

We received our second Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and will continue to request one each year, so we must thank Congress. We thank the United States Census Bureau for doing the heavy work and giving us data we need to do our job. We have been doing our jobs since 1990 and will continue to make things better for the multiracial population!

So, as we start a new year, we thank everyone who contributed hours of volunteer time to those of you who donated financially to keep us running. We do make a difference. Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
