Eva Noblezada, a very talented actress and singer, has been a major influence in the Broadway world. Eva Maria Noblezada was born on March 18, 1996, in San Diego, California. Her father, Jon, is of Filipino ancestry while her mother, Angie, is of Mexican descent. She attened an arts school for most of her life and comes from a musically gifted family. Her musical prowess would show through her becoming one of the finalists for the 2013 National High School Musical Theatre Awards. Here she was noticed by a casting director who would help her launch her career in musical theatre. In 2014, she left her school of the arts to perform in Miss Saigon in London where she performed as Kim. Also in London, she starred as Éponine in the West End production of Les Misérables.

Noblezada debuted on Broadway as Kim in Miss Saigon during 2014. Most notably, she was the original Eurydice in the production of Hadestown on Broadway. For both of these musical she would receive a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical at the Tony’s. She also won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for her work in Hadestown. All in all, she’s had a very promising and inspiring career.

Currently, Noblezada is starring as Daisy in The Great Gatsby musical, which has recently transitioned from the Paper Mill Playhouse onto Broadway stage. We can’t wait to see what she continues doing!
