Census Bureau Meeting
It was a month in the making, but we finally had a meeting with three representatives from the Census Bureau yesterday. We had eight of the national leaders of the Multiracial community represented. It went very well.
The Census Bureau personnel gave a presentation with the focus on the 2020 Census results, which was very informative and enlightening. We also discussed the following:
- Diversity Measures
- Majority/Minority Issues
- Multiracial Heritage Week
- Multiracial Wording
- Project RACE helping major corporations with diversity
- Important medical issues
- MENA Category
- 2030 Census Plans
- And much more.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in this important meeting. We will have more planned in the future.
