Book Review of Betty: A Novel By Tiffany McDaniel Betty is a book I almost put down several times and I am so glad I didn’t. This is the beautifully written story of Betty Carpenter, a biracial (White and Cherokee) girl growing up in the foothills of the Appalachians.
