2022-11-12T15:03:48+00:00November 12th, 2022|

On October 27th, Project RACE Members were asked to give our thoughts on a Multiracial classification to the Office of Management and Budget Working Group. Our Project RACE Teens President, Maddy Rempel, and her brother, our Project RACE Kids President, AJ Rempel, were exceptional in their presentation, which is below. Thank you to everyone for your support at this critical time. A category labeled as Multiracial would be a step in the right direction. However, this is still not very specific. Therefore, Under the Multiracial option you could have a [...]

My sweet and brilliant grandson Ashton just turned nine years old. His greatest love for years now is Bendy – he has drawn a fold-out rendition of Bendy and shown me in a video. He’ll be Bendy for Halloween this year. So I’m educating myself. Bendy is a video game character – this stuff seems dark. It’s advertised as the game “that will ruin your childhood love of cartoons.” I think I like it. While I watch a YouTube video of someone playing the game, I’m excited that my grandson [...]

Essay for the Times

2022-07-18T13:03:27+00:00July 18th, 2022|

Deb Ewing, our Project RACE Grandparents president noted the quotation below and wrote an essay for the times.   Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation1: First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one [...]
